What to Bring

Wear soft shoes. Sneakers or deck shoes are the best; shoes without black soles are preferred. Do not wear hard-soled shoes. Flip-flops also are not recommended due to wet floors.

  • Plenty of food and beverages – plastic, aluminum, or non-breakable containers
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat
  • Sunblock
  • Rain Gear – just in case. Check the local forecast.
  • Extra Clothes – be prepared no matter what the weather brings
  • Cooler – transporting fish home
  • Camera
  • Motion Sickness/Sea Sick Pills – if you think you’ll need them

We have three excellent captains running charters directly from Knapp’s Narrows Marina & Inn in Tilghman Island. Each one has a great boat for the Bay and many years of experience to offer. They base their boats here because we’re within easy reach of so many great fishing spots, including “Stone Rock,” arguably the best fishing spot on the Chesapeake Bay for rock, trout, blue, hard head, and drum. Each boat is USCG inspected, and each captain is licensed to carry up to six passengers.
